That's great for one of your firsts. Although the head does seem to be at a wierd slant. As SilencetheDawn said, it helps to lookin in a mirror or use a refrence pic when drawing complicated possisions. And the had is really good. Keep at it!

Hmmm. Great face! And you can't really tell with the nose. ^_^ It looks fantastic for one of your first drawings ever. Okay. . pointers. . well, you could outline with a thin black pen (sharpie!) before you color, it give it a really finished look. The structure looks pretty good, although her head kind of has an unnatural slant where her hair is. It's always helpful to look in the mirror when you draw so you can see how things look in reality. And your hands are a billion times better than my first hands.
